Requirements for Supplied Artwork Email Art Dept.

SCREENPRINTING
Art for Basic Job
(No windows or cutouts)
  • Basic artwork including colour information and ALL FONTS CONVERTED TO CURVES/OUTLINES.
  • Any included bitmaps will be re-drawn (as vector) at customers expense.

Art for Complex Job
(With Windows / Cutouts, Locations)

  • Dimensioned Mechanical Drawing showing ALL relevant dimensions etc.
  • Dimensioned Art including colour information and ALL FONTS CONVERTED TO CURVES/OUTLINES.
  • Any included bitmaps will be re-drawn (as vector) at customers expense.
File Formats we accept for Screenprinting:
  1. CDR – CorelDRAW
  2. PDF – Adobe Acrobat
  3. AI / EPS – Adobe Illustrator
  4. DXF / DWG – Autocad
  5. HPGL – Hewlett Packard’s universal vector format

DIGITAL PRINTING

  • Basic artwork and ALL FONTS CONVERTED TO CURVES/OUTLINES.
  • Bleeds of 25mm outside finished size to allow for trimming and sewing.
  • Bitmaps to be within Briter's Specs:
    • To be no less than 100 pixels per inch (40 pixels per cm) at finished size.
    • Avoid using resampled (upsampled) images as they generally do not hold the detail required for hi resolution printing.
    • RGB images are Preferred
    • Avoid using JPEG format unless absolutely necessary (JPEG compression causes loss of picture quality).

File Formats we accept for Digital Printing:
  1. CDR – CorelDRAW
  2. PDF – Adobe Acrobat
  3. PSD - Adobe Photoshop
  4. AI / EPS – Adobe Illustrator
  5. TIF
  6. JPG
  7. BMP

It is the customer’s responsibility to supply colour correct files. A low quality file will result in low quality prints. What you supply is what you get.
